Printing Conference in Bydgoszcz
On 22–24 May 2018, a printing conference took place in Bydgoszcz – Competence days.
The aim of the event was to present a comprehensive solution in the field of process control, both through expert lectures by leaders in the field and through a practical demonstration of Versor machines.
PROCESS CONTROL is the first step toward automation and increased production efficiency. At a time of steadily decreasing costs and simultaneously increasing demands placed on packaging printers, thorough control at every stage of the entire production process guarantees economic success.
In the morning, the following lectures took place:
Tadeusz Figurski, Versor – the concept of folder-gluer machines adapted for process control
Marcin Weksler, EyeC Polska – a comprehensive view of process control from prepress to folding and gluing
Małgorzata Szczotka, CM Consulting – quality control of the final print in relation to European and American standards
Monika Nojszewska, EFI – MIS and quality management support systems
Chris Leary, W.H. Leary – Finishing 4.0
In the afternoon, a demonstration of Versor machines took place.
Visitors were able to view the machine Versor SERTO 80 K3 with an EyeC camera inspection section, a Braille module, a pre-fold section, and a Leary gluing and control system.
Then also Versor inspector for image inspection just before completion, for a customer from Switzerland.
