Installation of the INAPA Serto 160
In April 2020, Versotrade installed a new box gluer Serto Cor 160 K4 Semimatic from the company Versor. This gluer is able to fold a box with a maximum width of 1600 mm and a maximum length of 1500 mm, or a minimum of 200/150. It handles 1-point to 4-point boxes. The advantage of this gluer is its multi-stage alignment system, which reduces the number of rejects to a minimum. The gluer is semi-automatic, which significantly shortens the machine setup time when switching between orders. This machine was supplied with a gluing unit from the American brand LEARY, which is a leader in its field.
Another major advantage is the central belts on gas struts in the section of the machine where the boxes are closed. If narrow boxes need to be folded, the central belts are simply pressed down under the side belts, allowing the side belts to move closer together. Production counting is done by mechanical side ejection or UV ink spray.
Since this was another installation after Mr. Lelek, the installation took place under strict quarantine and technicians from Versor could not cross the border. This is a seventeen-meter machine divided into seven parts, and all parts must be perfectly level, with servomotors electrically connected to the main switchboard. Such an extensive installation of a technically complex gluer requires a qualified team of service technicians. The circumstances were unforgiving, and we had to resolve the absence of the Polish technicians with remote assistance. Our service team did not wait, and with a "friend on the phone" began assembling the gluing machine. After 14 days, the installation was successfully completed, and Inapa's employees could begin familiarizing themselves with the new gluer. Training was not a problem, because the employees have a similar machine of smaller format. They only had to learn the new technology of assembling a four-point box.
Setting up completely for the first order was child's play for them, and they even started full production right away with excellent results. That's the quality of the Versor brand.
