In a highly simplified form, the whole process works as follows: the sample is scanned using the scanner and then compared with the master template using the software. Not only are the printed characters compared, but also the color shades, the dimensions of the final product (for example after die-cutting), the layout and many other attributes. Inspection can take place at almost any stage of creating the final product. For example, when the customer sends a sample and your company makes the first adjustments to optimize printing. Or with the first samples, it can be EyeC used for 100% inspection. And finally, of course, the inspection is able to EyeC check every single printed sheet and compare it with the original template.

The inspection can be divided into two parts, whereby EyeC inspection guarantees 100% control in both of them. These are: 1) offline, where it can compare the required original (for example from the customer) with any randomly selected sample, at any stage of production. Whether it is the original with an already edited file, the first printed sample, or a randomly selected final product. Comparison is done using a scanner, into which the individual samples are inserted and then sent to the EyeC program and compared. 2) inline, where a special scanner is integrated directly into the production line and checks every single product that passes through it.
