The FSA 870 Compact automatic hot foil stamping machine is used for hot foil stamping, embossing and hologram application, for example in the food sector (chocolates, confectionery) or non-food sector (cosmetics, tobacco), as well as in the production of printed products (business cards, labels or magazines). Gietz machines fully demonstrate their flexible performance when applying OVDs (security features) to banknotes, official documents and trademarks.

Reliability, speed, precision – the FSA 870 is known for its maximum precision, excellent stamping quality and high speed.
Quick job change – easy access to foils and dies, which can be changed and fixed quickly.
Optimal sheet format – all standard B2 presses are covered by the optimal 870 x 560 mm format, or 870 x 600 mm in the optional ESS version.
Longitudinal and transverse foil feed – foil can be fed into the press in the sheet direction or transversely, saving foil and reducing stamping costs.
Foil unwinding – unwinding controlled by roll diameter or externally is governed by a pneumatic brake for 1" and 3" cores, guaranteeing precise and smooth foil advance.
Dwell under pressure – as standard, the FSA 870 Compact offers a dwell time 25% longer than competitors. This allows lower stamping temperatures and lower stamping pressure. The dwell time can be extended up to a maximum of 2.5 seconds, which is used, for example, for deep, large-area foil stamping and embossing.
OVD technology (hologram printing) – for applying single-image holograms or whole stripes for the security industry.
