Installation of the C106Y die-cutting machine

September 5, 2025

In autumn 2025, a major milestone took place: the installation of the Guowang C106 Y die-cutting machine with hot foil stamping, which is part of the Versotrade portfolio.

The first day of installation was devoted to moving the machine. It had to be unloaded from the shipping container in which it had made the long journey from China across the ocean to Hamburg and then by rail to the Czech Republic.

The entire process was handled by a team of experienced staff from a specialist rigging company with long-standing expertise in moving heavy industrial machinery. Thanks to their know-how and experience, the move went smoothly and without any complications.

The rigging team easily handled both the uneven terrain and the demanding manoeuvring of the large automatic die-cutter into the print shop, where space was extremely limited. The machine was fully under control at all times – it was moved on special heavy-duty skates, and every step was carried out with maximum precision and a focus on safety.

The second and third days of installation were led by a Chinese design engineer who travelled from China specifically for this installation. He is a specialist with in-depth knowledge of the design, mechanical assemblies and control systems of this automatic die-cutter. With his experience, he would have been able to assemble, set up and commission the machine entirely on his own.

However, to speed up assembly and adjustment work, our service technicians also took part in the installation. Together, they precisely positioned the individual modules, carried out mechanical adjustment, checked the drives and performed basic machine calibration. This was followed by functional verification of key components and preparation of the machine for trial operation.

This form of cooperation benefited both sides. The Chinese engineer had local technical support, while our technicians gained detailed know-how about the design, setup and operating principles of the automatic die-cutter, which is essential for future service work and customer technical support.

Installation was followed by operator training. During the training, the operators became thoroughly familiar with all machine controls and were able to try out all of its functions in practice. The training covered both basic operation and the correct setup of the individual working modes.

First, the machine's main technological functions – die-cutting, hot foil stamping and blind embossing – were introduced and tested one by one. The operators learned how to set the individual parameters correctly, check output quality and respond to any deviations during operation.

After successful operator training, the machine was officially handed over for production. Both installation and training went smoothly and to the full satisfaction of both parties. Versotrade greatly appreciates the trust shown and looks forward to further cooperation and a long-term partnership.

If this machine has caught your interest or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our sales representatives. We will be happy to provide further information or arrange a personal presentation of the machine.
