PB2000 is a compact tabletop perfect binder using hot-melt glue. It is designed for copy shops, digital printers, offices and binderies that need to bind short runs of booklets, theses, manuals or catalogues quickly and reliably.
Before gluing, the spine is processed by a notching cutter so that the adhesive penetrates between the sheets and the binding is stronger. Glue is applied by a double glue drum; the nipper and clamper are made of stainless steel. The machine binds blocks up to 330 mm long and 38 mm (380 sheets) thick at 120 books per hour.
With dimensions of 580 × 550 × 270 mm, PB2000 fits on a standard work table; an optional stand is available. The integrated paper dust vacuum system and a safe melt tank cover ensure clean and safe operation.
