490EM is a compact programmable guillotine with electric knife and clamp drive, designed for print shops, copy centres, binderies and advertising studios. A heavy integral steel structure and precise manufacturing ensure professional cutting accuracy of ±0.3 mm with a pile height of up to 60 mm.
Cuts are programmed on a touch screen; 99 programs with 16 steps each can be stored, so repeat jobs are set up in no time. The powered backgauge runs on a dual gear and rail system, and the oblique knife movement improves cutting capacity and accuracy. Safety beams protect the operator and a laser shows the cut line.
