Gluing system – PUR

This PUR hot-melt direct-dispensing system consists of three main parts: the base unit, heated hoses and application guns. The unit can be equipped with up to three heated hoses and three application guns. It is operated via a touch screen, a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a frequency inverter. The system features simple operation, wide setting options and high control precision.

The machine uses RS-485 bus communication, touch-screen control and an energy-saving standby mode. Both the adhesive melting rate and the dispensing rate can be set according to the requirements of the specific application.

The unit is equipped with a comprehensive alarm system. If the temperature in the middle or lower part of the adhesive tank, the heated hose or the application gun exceeds the permitted range, the system displays the corresponding error message. It also warns of a fault in the frequency inverter, motor or temperature control module and of low adhesive level.

The main unit consists of an upper adhesive tank, middle and lower melting sections, a manifold, a metering pump, a coupling, a geared motor, a frame and a control cabinet. The tank is heated at several levels. Once melted in the middle and lower sections, the adhesive is conveyed by the metering pump through heated hoses to the application guns.

When an application gun is not working, the adhesive supplied by the pump returns to the tank via a bypass valve, ensuring its continuous circulation.
