Horus Fold is a complete creasing, perforating and folding system designed for professional finishing while eliminating time-consuming set-up.
The system consists of the Aeolus 375 feeder, the 375B creasing unit and the separate 375KF knife folding unit. It features a 500 mm vacuum feeder, automatic sheet measurement, a 7″ colour touch screen, interchangeable creasing and perforating tools with four different crease widths and the option to install up to four strike perforation units for partial perforation in both directions. Ultrasonic double-feed rejection eliminates losses caused by multiple sheets being fed at once.

What is the Progressive function
The Progressive function gradually shifts the crease position of individual sheets according to their order in the book block. The precisely controlled change of crease position creates an optimal spine shape once the publication is assembled, which improves book opening, reduces stress on the binding and limits the risk of spine cracking. With Progressive activated, each sheet is creased in a slightly different position, so in standard bindings the publication lies flatter without damaging the spine.
The Progressive function also allows a "V" profile to be created which, after binding, forms a square back. The result is a professional-looking book that opens almost flat and is more comfortable to read and handle.
